Why I Stopped Rushing My Life

Image
For most of my life, i believed that moving fast was the key to success.  I thought that the busier i was, the more accomplished i would become.  My days were filled with to-do lists, appointments, deadlines, and constant reminders of what i should be doing.  I was always thinking about the next thing    next promotion, next project, next milestone    and rarely stopping to appreciate the present.  Life felt like a race, and i was sprinting without a clear finish line. I used to measure myself by how much i could accomplish in a day, how quickly i could achieve my goals, and how i stacked up against the people around me.  Social media made this even harder. Everyone seemed to be living a perfect, fast-paced life while i struggled to keep up.  i compared myself endlessly, and no matter how much i achieved, it never felt enough. The more i    rushed, the more anxious i became, and the less joy i actually felt. The turning point c...

The Day I Chose Myself First

A Journey Back to My Own Heart There comes a day in every person’s life when the noise around them becomes too loud when the world’s expectations, people’s opinions, and the pressure to be everything to everyone feels suffocating. I kept giving even when my hands were empty. I kept pouring from a cup that had already run dry. Deep down, I feared that choosing myself would mean disappointing others. So I stayed in situations that dr...

From Overthinking to Peace: My Journey to Mental Clarity

Image
There was a time when my mind never stopped running... Every conversation, every decision, every possible  “what if”  replayed in endless loops inside my head.  I would lie awake at night analyzing things that had already happened or imagining problems that didn’t even exist yet. Overthinking slowly became my constant companion exhausting, overwhelming, and quietly destructive. For a long time, i thought this was just the way my mind worked. I believed that thinking more would somehow lead to better answers. But instead of clarity, it only brought more confusion. Eventually, i reached a point where I felt mentally drained. I realized something had to change. I couldn’t keep living inside my thoughts like this. That moment became the beginning of my journey toward mental clarity . It wasn’t a perfect or straight path. It was slow, messy, and deeply personal. But little by little, through awareness, journaling , and simple habits, I started finding peace where chaos used to...
